Get ready for our latest Image of the Month photo contest!

Submission is free and only images uploaded this month are eligible. The winning photographer’s image is featured in our gallery, newsletter, and our social media feed (for bragging rights), and in addition will receive a 16×20 giclée paper print of their image. We’re looking forward to seeing your truly awe-inspiring submissions.

The Image Flow will evaluate each submission on composition, color, contrast, and overall quality when making their selections. In addition to technical components, they will also consider subject interest, point of view, and whether the image tells a story.

This month’s theme is Texture. The competition is open to professional and amateur photographers globally.

Texture can be as tantalizing to see as it is to touch.

By definition, “texture” refers to visual or tactile surface characteristics.

For this call, share your photographic definition of texture. We invite entries that are literal, playful, experimental, or tongue-in-cheek.

This call opens on March 4, 2023. Our deadline for this call for art is 11:59PM on Friday, March 31, 2023.

Eligibility

This call is open to all artists worldwide, both amateur and professional.

All entries must be original works of art and entirely the work of the entrant. Open to photography mediums (film, digital, alternative process, printmaking, digital art) except film/video & mixed media.
