Kathleen Buckstaff asked us to print her abstract images of lilies for her upcoming show Lilies: Line, Curve and Color; A Language of Love. Matt Schrock worked with Kathleen to print the detailed and vibrant project. They decided to print on Epson’s Hotpress Bright cotton-based matte paper, which has an extremely high color gamut and black density that would hold and accentuate the color. Working under Kathleen’s direction, Matt created archival pigment prints to show off the vividness of the flowers.
Kathleen’s show, Lilies: Lines, Curve, and Color: a Language of Love will be hanging in the Founders Room at The Belvedere-Tiburon Library April 14 – May 10. The opening reception will be April 15 from 6-8pm.
