Widely considered the greatest British photographer of the 20th century, Bill Brandt is a central figure in the development of photographic modernism. Brandt’s wide-ranging lens was equally masterful in the fields of photojournalism, portraiture, landscape photography, and the nude. His rich, five-decade-long career continues to inspire, challenge, and influence photography to this day.

Presenter Bio: A seasoned traveler and fine art photographer, Jeffrey Martz earned his MFA in photography from Utah State University in 1997. He has taught photography, bookbinding, and art history for over 20 years, and currently teaches at Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo, CA.
