This year’s group exhibition showcases students’ photographs from some of The Image Flow’s most popular workshops. From Photo Essentials to Destination Workshops and One-on-Ones, this collection provides a unique chance to see the world from the perspective of a diverse set of photographers. Some of the images were the result of specific assignments, but most are from what I like to refer to as “self-directed projects”. Projects where we as instructors guide and push our students to see more, observe more and realize their vision through the camera.
Curating this collection of photographs was a good challenge. After reviewing hundreds of images from scores of photographers the exhibition’s limit was ultimately determined by the wall space. In short, the team at The Image Flow together with the many independent instructors who support The Flow have pushed our students to new heights.
I could not be more proud of the work that has been produced here in the past 12 months, and I want to express my sincere thanks to the many people that have helped guide our workshop participants.
And a great big thank you to all the students who have put their trust in The Flow to help them become the photographers they aspire to be.
