The Image Flow has conducted our annual Photo of the Month Photography Competition for three years, and we are excited to announce an update. Photo of the Season Photography Competition has the same features that you know and love, with the benefit of additional time to submit. We challenge you to respond to our new prompts with thought-provoking submissions every season. We look forward to seeing your best work!
The Image Flow will evaluate each submission on composition, color, contrast, and overall quality when making the selections. In addition to technical components, we will also consider subject interest, point of view, and whether the image tells a story.
Under the seasonal theme of Worth a Thousand Words, the competition is open to photographers globally.
This spring, we invite you to explore the theme “Worth a Thousand Words.” We have all heard the phrase “a photograph is worth a thousand words”, and we want you to prove it. We want to see powerful, standalone images that tell a compelling story. Show us images that contain narrative, emotion, and make us think.
$15 to submit — (3) images max
This call is open to all artists worldwide.
All entries must be original works of art and entirely the work of the entrant. Open to photography mediums (film, digital, alternative process, printmaking, digital art) except film/video, mixed media, and AI-generated images.
Winners receive a print of their winning image. Prints can be shipped via USPS anywhere within the United States, at the artist’s expense. TIF Gift Certificates can be used to cover shipping costs. First-place winners have 6 months to use their TIF Gift Certificate.
