Get ready for our latest Image of the Month photo contest!

Submission is free and only images uploaded this month are eligible. The winning photographer’s image is featured in our gallery, newsletter, and our social media feed (for bragging rights), and in addition will receive a 16×20 giclée paper print of their image. We’re looking forward to seeing your truly awe-inspiring submissions

The Image Flow will evaluate each submission on composition, color, contrast, and overall quality when making their selections. In addition to technical components, they will also consider subject interest, point of view, and whether the image tells a story.

This month’s theme is Weather, and the competition is open to professional and amateur photographers globally.

Photography Competition Theme

Weather – At times it is powerful, and awe-inspiring. At others, it is gentle, rhythmic, and a pattern with which we can mark the passage of time. In its simplest pleasures, weather can be the sun-shining rays that make your skin tingle and heart warm. Here in early 2023 California, we’re living in an atmospheric river of it.

So for this prompt: share with us the weather that stirs your emotions, whether it be desolate, atmospheric, or magical.

Eligibility

This call is open to all artists worldwide, both amateur and professional.

All entries must be original works of art and entirely the work of the entrant. Open to photography mediums (film, digital, alternative process, printmaking, digital art) except film/video & mixed media.
